The problem of the optimal arrangement of household appliances in the kitchen is familiar to many. Most guidelines tend to provide recommendations that are not always applicable. We will not criticize the manufacturers, they certainly strive to protect themselves from possible problems, and we will look at the problems sensibly. In most cases, free space in the kitchen is sorely lacking, so you have to combine household appliances in various ways.
Install microwave on the refrigerator or washing machine is possible. But the following conditions must be met:
- make sure the base is strong enough to support the weight of the unit and stable to prevent strong vibrations;
- check that there is a small gap between the microwave oven and the base (for example, you can put pieces of sealant or wood under the legs);
- provide the necessary ventilation of the devices (there should be at least 15 cm to the nearest wall);
- the main thing is the convenience of using both devices; set the microwave oven at the optimum height.
Important clarification: these rules do not apply if you plan to use the microwave oven as a oven... Long-term heating of the surface is harmful to technology.
If we talk about installing a TV on the refrigerator, it is really not recommended to install this appliance on a vibrating surface. Even small vibrations negatively affect the performance of modern devices, not to mention old models, which can easily fail. It would be best to place the TV on a separate shelf or stand securely mounted on the wall.
