Mi Roborock Sweep One was released in 2017 by Xiaomi (developed by Roborock). In fact, this is an improved version of the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, which has become widespread and is in high demand among users. Sweep One is more advanced and also has a wet floor function. Appearance
Like all Xiaomi models, the Mi Roborock Sweep One has a round shape, stylish appearance and is made in white. The diameter of the device is 35 cm, the height is 9.65 cm. It weighs 3.5 kg. If you look at the robot from above, you can see that it is divided into two parts. On the upper (smaller) there are three buttons: switching on, setting the local cleaning mode, sending to the charging station. When opening the second part, the user gains access to the dust collector. A high circular laser sensor is installed between the two sections, with the help of which navigation takes place.
A soft bumper is installed on the side surface to prevent damage to the body in a collision. It also houses the power button, blow-out holes and a power connector. Installed on the bottom:
- two wheels with improved grip (suitable for different types of floors) with adjustable suspension height;
- steering wheel for maneuverability and turns;
- contacts for the base;
- a hole for suction of debris, on which a central brush with silicone petals is installed;

The Mi Roborock Sweep One robot functions like all types of cleaners: a side brush directs dust to the suction inlet, a brush installed on it collects debris from surfaces. Equipped with the E11 HEPA filter makes this model more convenient for maintenance, since it can not only be cleaned, but also washed under water.
The vacuum cleaner can move in several directions according to the mode:
- automatic: along the perimeter or along straight lines;
- local: in a spiral along the most polluted area.
You can turn on the device and select the mode using the buttons located on it, or via a smartphone. For remote control, you need to use the Mi Home app. Communication with the device occurs via Wi-Fi. Using a smartphone, you can draw up a work schedule, select modes, and view work statistics.
The laser on the round button protruding from above scans the room.At the same time, it rotates around its axis and reads data 5 times per second. Thanks to the SLAM algorithm, the vacuum cleaner builds a map of the room for correct movement. With the help of all the sensors listed above, it successfully avoids obstacles, recognizes elevation differences. A feature of the device is the recognition of the type of surface, because of which it can change the suction power for more effective cleaning.
To perform wet wiping on the floor, attach a block with water and a napkin to the bottom of the device. There are holes in the container through which the water evenly wets the cloth during movement. The wiping is done evenly, streaks and drops do not remain on the floor.

But, considering the technological capabilities, functionality and quality of cleaning, we can say that the price is quite justified.
