The Roomba 616 is a feature-packed home cleaner that does its job effectively. In the review, we will consider the capabilities of the vacuum cleaner and its characteristics.
Appearance
The vacuum cleaner is round in shape with a diameter of 34, a height of 9.5 cm and a weight of 2.1 kg. The body is made of plastic with a matte finish. The robot is made in black-gray and white-gray colors. On the top panel there are control buttons, a recessed handle that makes it easier to carry the robot. The dust collector opens and is removed from the side, after pressing the corresponding button. After removing it, you can also take out the filter for cleaning. On the side surface there are sensors, a soft bumper, an air outlet. On the bottom of the vacuum cleaner:

Functionality
iRobot Roomba 616 collects dry waste with its brushes. The side brush takes dust from the corners, near the baseboards and sweeps it to the central brush, equipped not only with bristles, but also with rubber strips that prevent debris from remaining on the surface. The dust enters a container equipped with filters that filter out even the smallest particles. If desired, you can install an additional filter to get even better air purification.
When performing work, the vacuum cleaner can move along the walls, then perpendicular to them and the furniture in the room. There are also functions: cleaning along a spiral trajectory, movement by a snake.
The robot chooses its route independently, evaluating the room using the iAdapt navigation system. Begins with erratic movements, swerving when obstacles are detected. Then he drives around the perimeter of the room and ends the program in a spiral. With this cycle of work, its time decreases, and the cleaning area increases.
The wheels of the device have idle rotation, which allows it not to interrupt cleaning in the presence of wires and small objects on the floor. It is possible to limit the coverage area in the form of a virtual wall, but it must be purchased separately.

Summing up, it can be noted that a well-thought-out trajectory of movement ensures a quick and thorough cleaning of the room. The price of iRobot Roomba 616 is 18 thousand rubles. For this price segment, despite the indisputable advantages, the robot cannot be considered a leader, since it has a rather meager configuration and few operating modes.
