Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 65 is a TV of the Chinese company with a 65-inch diagonal for 62,500 rubles from the Mi TV line. Not too cheap for Chinese technology, but does it live up to expectations? What functions and technologies does the manufacturer offer? After monitoring the market, I discovered that this is not the only such offer. I discarded very cheap, frankly weak TVs, but Samsung UE-58NU7100 for 51 thousand rubles interested me. Will Xiaomi be able to compete with the eminent Samsung brand? I made a detailed comparison of these TVs and made the conclusions that you will learn about at the end of the review.

Screen
Light-emitting diode (LED) backlight, 65-inch screen. Pixel response time - 8 ms, resolution - Ultra HD (3840 × 2160 pixels) with Samsung / LG matrix. The HDR function makes the picture more balanced: light parts darken, and dark parts brighten. But in fact, the color rendition leaves much to be desired: poor contrast, mediocre brightness. The image does not match the matrix, even the budget one Samsung UE-58NU7100... Frame rate - 60 Hz - allows game lovers to play Xbox or PlayStation. This is good news.
Appearance
Dimensions - 1458 × 911 × 9 mm. The body is black. The stand matches well with the thin frame. The new generation Mi TV A4 is two times thinner than its predecessor, the Mi TV A3 65. The screen looks so thin that it feels like it will break at the slightest impact. Standard wall mount - VESA 200 × 400 mm. The gap between the case and the wall is very small, so it is better to connect the necessary equipment in advance. The motherboard is placed in a separate unit, connected to the screen through a special Mi Port. In appearance, Xiaomi beats the budget Samsung UE-58NU7100 for 50 900 rubles. Samsung's plastic looks cheap and fragile.
Connectors
What is never enough is them: there is always a lack of some kind of output / input, but this TV made me happy with its quantity. There are usb 2.0, usb 3.0, 3 HDMI, A / V (composite), S / PDIF (digital), HDMI-2.0 × 3 (including one ARC), one Woofer. Ethernet-LAN is present, but the RJ-45 connector is missing: large video files that are played via Wi-Fi can slow down.
Sound
Two built-in speakers with a total power of 16 W (2 x 8 W). In some configuration, the plasma is also accompanied by Mi home Theater (2 speakers and a subwoofer up to 100 W) and a soundbar. This additional acoustics allows your favorite TV series to sound at a good level, but even without them, the speaker power is sufficient. Outperforms Chinese models of low-end companies BBK 65LEX-6027 / UTS2C and Erisson 65ULEA99T2 Smart... Sound quality - at the level Samsung UE-58NU7100, LG 60UK6200.
Function
Mi TV A4 is Amlogic's 64-bit flagship processor with four Cortex-A53 cores and a clock speed of 1.8 GHz. RAM - 2 GB, flash - 8 GB. Smart TV is not localized at all in our region, but the MiBox and built-in programs can save the situation. If you take goods on the Internet, and not buy in a home appliance store, you can get the goods in Chinese without adapting to Russian. Not a particularly friendly TV for the price. Feature of Mi TV A4 - you can control Mi-Smart devices directly from the TV screen. You just need to connect the app via your smartphone and say what you want. The model supports Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth low energy. You can easily connect wireless mice and headphones.

You can take Samsung for 50,900 rubles and not bother with the settings. If the friendliness of the TV is not particularly important, then your own processor, functionality, large screen, additional acoustics will bring great pleasure to the buyer.
