Modern technology of the German company Bosch pleases with its quality. She serves for a long time and is considered a reliable assistant in the house. Dishwashers of this brand, especially if their assembly is European, are ready to work properly for many years. The proof of this is the company's ten-year service guarantee. But even reliable equipment can fail. Often these are minor problems that you can fix yourself without calling the wizard. As a rule, a malfunction is indicated by certain symbols that appear on the device display. What to do in this case? Each error indicates some kind of breakdown.
Fault diagnosis
This technique is designed to facilitate grueling housework chores. But at the moment when a malfunction occurs, it is not always easy to diagnose a breakdown. The dishwashers of the Bosch family are equipped with a modern control unit with coded errors. To find out the reason for the violation of perfect work, it remains only to decipher the system error code.
Quite a common situation: a Bosch dishwasher executes the program specified by the consumer, and suddenly, almost before the end of the process, a warning appears: error e22.
As a rule, the first reaction of dishwasher owners is to turn the machine off and on. And often the technique starts to work, but this is a short-term phenomenon. As a rule, after a short period of time, the problem arises again - when 5-10 minutes remain, the given program stops, freezes, and then begins to warn in numbers about problems in operation.
Less often, a similar error can appear at the beginning and in the middle of the execution of a given program. If you constantly restart the car, this is unlikely to correct the situation, and, most likely, after 15 minutes the car will freeze again, and then display a new system code on the display indicating a malfunction - error e24.
Restarting the dishwasher program can only help if it is necessary to complete the cycle during which the error occurred. If, after its completion, you do not begin to eliminate the breakdown, and continue to mercilessly operate the equipment, the consequence may be the failure of the control unit. And changing it is quite expensive.

What does the e22 error indicate?
One of the filters is clogged
If such a system code appears on the display of the Bosch dishwasher, then, most likely, one of the filters is clogged and therefore the water that should come out through the drain hose remains in the pan. The reason is banal - all the garbage, food leftovers on plates and cups have accumulated in the filter mesh and clogged it. Or maybe they stayed in the trash filter, and interfere with the normal circulation of water.
Drain hose problem
If the filters are clean but the problem persists, it is worth checking the drain hose. Another sign that a malfunction in this particular part of the dishwasher is the alternation of error e22 with e24.Although, according to the masters, the alternation of these two codes in only 20% indicates a problem in the drain hose, most often the malfunction occurs in the pump.
Spray impellers defective
Various errors will pop up on the display of the device if the impeller operation is difficult. Often, specialists will fix the breakdown by checking the area between the pump bushing and the impeller. Small particles from food can get there - the cause is easily eliminated, but sometimes difficult to notice.
Before repairing a Bosch dishwasher, you must disconnect it from the power supply, turn off the tap through which water enters the device, remove all dishes and baskets under it from the device.
How do I fix the problem?
First of all, in order to eliminate the cause of the malfunction, you need to clean the water outlets. At the bottom of any dishwasher, including Bosch, there is a cleaning filter that traps food debris, above it is a mesh filter, all these parts must be checked for clogging, and the removable parts must be rinsed under running water.
Inspect the drain hose for kinks. Then check the scrolling of the spray impellers (there are 2 of them in the advanced Bosch models). The reason why the e22 error may appear in this case is not only in the debris, but also metal corrosion. In this case, special anti-corrosion agents will help.
But what if the work done did not give a result, and the e22 error still appears on the display? We'll have to look inside the Bosch dishwasher.
To do this, the fastening bolts are unscrewed, the branch pipe is pulled out and checked for clogging, then it is washed and put in place.
Then the heating element should be checked. To do this, the dishwasher will have to be turned over in order to unscrew the tray holders. In its center there is a plastic unit, it is large in size, and has an outlet for nozzles, there is a heating element. It has a pump. To make sure there are no foreign bodies that interfere with the normal operation of the machine, the pump is unscrewed, while the wires are first removed.
Most likely, after carrying out the above procedures, good cleaning of all parts, the error e22 will disappear.
Elimination of this type of breakdown does not pose any particular difficulties, the main thing is to find the source of the defect that has arisen and be attentive during its elimination.
